What kind of pet supplies are most popular on ebay?
Q. I am thinking of selling pet supplies on ebay so I can gain money and earn a bit of profit. But I am curious as to what kind of products/audience I should be aiming at. I am completely new to this and quite young, so if you have any experience please share it with me :) thanks in advance.

A. i have bought a ton of pet products off of ebay ... lots of stuff for my dog including leashes and collars, so many name tags, toys, bowls, clothes ... and stuff for my fish, filters, heaters, fish food, fish chemicals, shells, and even live plants ... i have bought almost all my hermit crab supplies from ebay as well, the entire crabworx line, shells, food, substrate ... my only suggestion is to sell to canada !!! there are lots of canadians who shop ebay and it really chokes me when they will not ship to canada ... also offer FAIR shipping, do not try to make your money off of the shipping charge ... charge what it takes to package and mail ... i no longer purchase from anyone charging a handling fee because i can just click back and buy… [cont.]

What would be the best supplies to start someone painting on canvas?
Q. My husband is a gifted artist, but he limits himself to drawing. I would love to see him explore the world of painting and would like to buy him supplies to get started for Christmas. What would he need to get started?

A. oils or acrylics...a good set of brushes,different sizes and shapes, appropriate to the paint, several canvases..pre-stretched and pre gessoed, need not buy the expensive ones..go with the cheaper ones to begin with...mix up the sizes, small to large, to give him some choice, a basic set of paints...get the basics...a disposable palette pad, maybe a palette knife or two...if you choose oils, a bottle of refined linseed oil and a can of turpenoid, to clean the brushes...and easel if you have a good budget, but its not vital to the effort... wow he's a lucky man...great present idea..have fun...but it really wont be terribly cheap, but oh could be so worth every dime...try to look for sales and shop a little at a time

How do I organize art supplies and other miscellaneous things?
Q. So, I recently had cabinets installed in my son's play area. I have lots of space to put play-doh, bubbles, art supplies, games, etc but I've just been staring at empty cabinets for a couple of days now. I have no idea how to go about storing these things so that they can be easily taken out and put back in neatly. Any ideas?

A. I got these plastic shoeboxes from Bed, Bath, & Beyond. I also think you can get them from Walmart. I think 5 come in a pack and they cost $10. I put all the playdough in one box, all the markers in another, etc. Plus you can stick a label on them (like a picture of whatever is in the box). They are stackable and portable. I also stick some things in gallon sized plastic ziplock bags.
