How do I prepare design work for production?
Q. I'm doing an assignment in college where I have to design cd packaging, a t-shirt with neck label and a clothing tag, and I need to know how I would prepare my designs for production had this been a real project. Thanks.

A. production as in to get it made? then design it, make PDFs in cmyk of each design (no fonts), may also need colour proofs and samples of the stock you will be using

What are the rubber flooring effects on dairy production?
Q. I'd like to know how rubber flooring affects dairy production. Most of people who answered me this question just told me its good to cows don't slip and that its good for their feet, but I need to know how it affects the dairy product's quality and price. I need numbers, and for me it's really hard to find, as I don't know too much about cows. =D Please, it has been months I'm researching about it, so I will give 10 points for the most useful question.

A. Rubber matting or cow matress in the stalls first help them not slip on the wet cement. Also it give a cushion effect on the hoof and the joint in the leg which helps in preventing lamness. In the modern dairy industry lamness is one of the most common causes for having to cull cows from the herd. Which in turn causes milk production to drop which in turn effects the amount of money you get when you are paid for the milk they pick up to take to the creamery. You are not paid by the gallon but by the pound. Such as our creamery here in Alaska pays us 23 dollars per hundred with milk weighing 8.5 pound per gallon. What are some good ways to boost collagen production in the skin?
Q. Is there any way I can boost the collagen production in my skin without undergoing expensive procedures or using skin creams with collagen in them? I don't want to use creams with collagen, because collagen is an animal byproduct.

A. The only way I know of without expensive procedures or collagen creams is to use retin-a. Retin-a is known to boost collagen production by 80% in the first year of use. After that, I am not sure.
