How do I sent up mobile alerts for my real estate company? How do i send mobile virtual property tours?
Q. I am a real estate agent and I want to know how I set up mobile messaging alerts to tell my clients about new properties, open houses, etc. Where can I do this? Is it possible with picture messaging or even video! Can you send out mobile virtual property tours?

A. I have seen a lot of sites that send out text messages, but for your purpose as a real estate agent I could see how that would deficient. I know of one site that you can create picture messaging slideshows. www.cellyspace.com has an MMS composer that you can create slideshows with video, images, audio and text. They have tools for you to broadcast those messages as mobile alerts to subscribers or you can place a keycode on for sale signs like "Text HOUSE to 33563" and people driving buy can instantly have virtual property tour sent to their mobile phones. You'll be able to gather potential leads while you're not even working and inform multiple clients of new open houses with previews and anything else you can think of.

1995 mobile home. Will standard plug-in and light switch replacements work?
Q. I am going to rent this place, and the light switches and plug-ins need replaced. Can I just buy these from lowe's or will I need to go to a mobile home supply store?

A. This really depends on whether the switches and outlets are self-contained, or box mounted. Some manufacturers use boxes, some don't. If youve got the type without a box, then you will either have to buy the same type, or install a box to use standard outlets. Also - the cover plates are different. A self contained outlet or switch will use a snap on cover, as opposed to one that is secured with screws with standard outlets. The self contained outlets have a "wing tab" on them which grips the backside of the sheetrock. You can purchase outlet boxes with the same kind of tab. The advantage to these, is that you do not have to mount the box to a stud... it holds itself in place by pinching the wall, therefore you have a little more… [cont.]

What is the cheapest way to call an Irish mobile from the UK without having to sign up to a calling card site?
Q. I've spent hours surfing around trying to find the best way to call Irish mobiles from the UK - either from a mobile or from a fixed line. There are a few services out there which let you dial an 07744 number from your mobile but I'm on 3 and they block that. So at the moment it's looking like using Just Dial's 0900 service from a landline for 15p a minute. If anyone has any other suggestions, let me know. 3 do an Add-on called International Saver or something however calls to Irish mobiles are not included. Only calls to Irish fixed lines are covered.
