Is it inappropriate to get hammered at a work related outing?
Q. We have to go to some stupid baseball game today. I hate sports and I hate being sweaty. Would it be wrong if I drank myself senseless? Food & Drink > Beer, Wine & Spirits

A. You know, in my country "hammered" could also be used in a sexual context. But if sports and sweatiness are out then, sure get liquored up then.

A question about tipping, especially as it relates to food servers.?
Q. Many people practically hate me because of my stance on tipping; however, I wonder if there is at least one person articulate enough to explain to me why the percentage of tip has increased by double in the past few decades, while at the same time the cost of food and drink has also increased by at least ten times. A steak 40 years ago in a decent place cost about $2.50, and the acceptable tip in a higher end restaurant was 10%. Now the cost of a steak is at least $25.00 and the expected tip is going up towards 20% (to hear the overworked servers side) I DO understand that servers are paid less than minimum wage!!! Yes, I know this. Can someone do the math on this, as well? If they are worked so terribly hard, I'd guess they'd have… [cont.]

A. You can never go wrong with a 10 to 15% tip don't pay higher then that...you don't have to!!!
