What do you mean by industrial viscosity of a material?
Q. What is the difference between industrial viscosity and viscosity? What is the difference between viscosity and industrial viscosity? It is very widely used for bituminous materials especially asphalt. The BIS code for measuring industrial viscosity of asphalt is IS 1206 (part 1, 2 and 3). Can't recall the ASTM code.

A. Actually definition of viscosity never be changed, but with reference to your question is: "when measuring viscosity it simultaneously measures real-time viscosity, density and temperature and can be configured to output either dynamic or kinematic viscosity" "continuous online liquid viscosity measurement in pipelines or static tanks" Some of the critical application requires constant viscosity.
